Bio
Mustafa was born in Babil, Iraq in 1994. He completed his B.A.Sc. degree in 2017 at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. He joined the Photonics laboratory as an undergraduate assistant in 2016 and then as a graduate student member when he started his M.A.Sc. degree in 2017 with professor Nicolas Jaeger and as Ph.D. candidate in 2019. His research interests include emerging silicon photonics technologies and integrated optics.
